General Updates

 

Game Client Performance

  • Game Performance Improvemnts
    • Updated game client to 2025 Action 45 (A45) 
    • Significantly improved FPS and performance
    • Fixed several random crashes 
    • Improved 64-bit client version
  • Game Client + Installer Improvements 
    • Significantly decreased game client size 
    • Significantly decrease game client installer/download size. 
    • Note: You must download the latest client version from website for this. 

 

Gameplay Improvements

  • Sleep/Stun/Sit Animation Improvements  
    • Fixed an issue (made worse with latency) that caused a delay in the animation for stuns/sleeps/sit debuffs.

Development Notes

This update will help us to gather live damage algorithm related data when can compare to before this update (without the buff limit).  Based on an initial analysis, damage algorithm values (both incoming and outgoing) were significantly being affected by the excessive amount of buffs due to the algorithm's nature in using a combination of multiplicative and additive augmentation. 

Overall we expect this to significantly improve balance and decrease RNG related to damage that was being made exponentially by having too many buffs. 

Major System Improvements

  • Buff Persistence
    • Item, Recovery, and Rune buffs now persist through:
      • Channel changes
      • Game logouts
    • Skill buffs/debuffs still non-persistent
    • Divine Blessing/Guild skills retain previous persistence
  • Scroll System Changes
    • Old: Could buff self and other players
    • New: Self-buff only
  • Experience Boost Changes
    • You can now use 5 EXP/DROP scrolls even with Arcadia's Blessing. 
    • Old: Combined 5-item limit for Experience Scrolls + Arcadia's Blessing
    • New: Separate 5-item limits for each category
